Scholarship committee

deadline march 15, 2026

The Westhaven Foundation College Scholarship Committee identifies Westhaven and Williamson

County resident students who most exemplify the spirit of the Westhaven community through their demonstrated voluntary efforts in the areas of activism, civic involvement and charity, and reward them through scholarship awards for these non-academic efforts.

We have established The Westhaven Foundation Scholarships to support Westhaven and Williamson County high school graduates in furthering their education.

There are a total of five scholarships available for the 2026 year:

The Fountain Scholarship will award $5,000 to one high school senior and $2,500 to an additional high school senior both of whom must reside in the Westhaven Community in Franklin, TN.

The Grimes Lift Scholarship will award $5,000 to one high school senior and $2,500 to an additional high school senior both of whom must reside in Williamson County, TN

The Debbie Jones Memorial Nursing Scholarship will award $2,500 to a student residing in Williamson County, TN

Both the Fountain and the Grimes Lift scholarships will be awarded to rising college freshmen demonstrating a high degree of volunteerism along with strong community involvement, and who are continuing their education at an accredited college or university, vocational or other post-secondary educational program. Applicants for the Debbie Jones Memorial Nursing Scholarship must meet the same criteria, albeit, they may apply as high school seniors or for any year while in college with a nursing major. This scholarship, however, can only be awarded once to any one person.

Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.7 to demonstrate potential success in their educational programs.

The Scholarships will be awarded without regard to means, race, religion, or gender.

Students may submit an application for only one scholarship. As stated above, a recipient of the Debbie Jones Memorial Nursing Scholarship in ineligible to make application in subsequent years.

All applications and required attachments must be received by The Westhaven Foundation Scholarship Coordinator by Friday, March 15 2026.

Applications will be reviewed and selections made by The Westhaven Foundation Scholarship Committee. All decisions are final. Scholarship recipients will be notified by Friday, April 10, 2026.

Buy a brick in Foundation Park on the Lake

Westhaven Foundation Park is a popular place where our community comes together for music, relaxation, and family fun on the lake.

We’re adding a new pergola to provide shade and comfort, creating an even better space to gather. Proceeds from brick sales will make it possible.

Help us build more than a pergola—help us build community.
